A large proportion of the Norfolk coast lies within a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), protected by the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000. With its long coastline, ancient woodlands, huge expanses of agricultural land, and the famous Broads National Park (a unique network of rivers and man-made lakes known simply as “the Broads”).
